Mosi-oa-Tunya ("The Smoke That Thunders" )

Victoria Falls is one of the world's largest waterfalls, located on the Zambezi River between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (“The Smoke That Thunders" ), the falls span approximately 1.7 km and drop up to 108 metres into a series of basalt gorges. The falls are defined by their immense scale, powerful flow, and ever-changing veil of mist.
